Ultimately, when extending an offer of employment to new associates, it is our intention for such associate to become a long-term member of our Firm. Our size allows us to provide sophisticated legal services and appropriate professional challenges but not reduce talented individuals to simply a billable hour report. Associates have a real voice in their career development as well as the development of our Firm. Partnership consideration generally occurs within six (6) to eight (8) years.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package to summer and new associates. In addition, we reimburse first year associates for their bar review courses.

Legal Assistant – Litigation/Medical Malpractice/Insurance Defense

We are currently searching for an experienced legal secretary/assistant to fill the vacancy in our Litigation – Medical Malpractice/Insurance Defense practice area.  The ideal candidate must have proven prior legal secretary/assistant experience – typing speed and accuracy, as well as experience with dictation transcription are prerequisites.  Candidates must be dependable, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to maintain confidentiality in all client and firm matters, assume responsibility, prioritize work and manage workflow and work independently.  The candidate must also be proficient in Word, possess strong proofreading skills, be detail oriented, work well under deadline pressure and be able to thrive in a team environment.  Experience with Federal, State and Local Court procedures is preferred while experience with e-Filing and iManage document management is a plus!
